While records are most commonly enrolled in workflows based on the enrollment triggers, you can also manually enroll records from within a workflow. For contact-based workflows, you can also enroll contacts from within a contact record or list.
Enroll from a workflow
To enroll a record from within a workflow:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
- Click the name of a workflow.
- In the upper right, click enroll Enroll.
- If you're in a contact-based workflow, select an option in the dialog box.
- To enroll a list of contacts. click Enroll from a list.
- Click the dropdown menu and select the list to enroll.
- Click Enroll.

- To enroll individual contacts, click Choose contacts.
- Select the checkbox next to each contact to be enrolled.
- Click Enroll x contacts to enroll the contacts in the workflow.
- In all other workflow types, select the checkbox next to each object to enroll.
- Click Enroll x [object] to enroll the objects in the workflow.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Contacts.
- Click the name of the contact to enroll.
- In the right panel, Workflow memberships section, click Manage workflow memberships.
- In the upper right, click Enroll in workflow.
- In the dialog box, click the dropdown menu and select the workflow.
- Click Enroll.
Please note: this feature is available for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise only.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Lists.
- Click the name of the list.
- Select the contacts to be enrolled:
- To choose specific contacts, select the checkbox next to each contact to enroll.
- To select all contacts on the current page of the list, select the checkbox in the table header.
- To select all contacts in the list, select the checkbox in the table header, then click Select all x contacts at the top of the table.
- Click the More dropdown menu and select Enroll in workflow.
- In the dialog box, click the dropdown menu and select the workflow to enroll these contacts in.
- Click Enroll.
