Can't delete list

When a list can't be deleted, the Delete option will be grayed out. There are several reasons why you may be unable to delete a list:

• The list is created by default in your HubSpot account.
• The list is being used in other lists in a List membership criteria.
• The list is being used in a workflow.
• The list is being used in a saved view.

List is a default list

Default lists cannot be deleted. These include persona lists, blog subscription lists, and partner lead registration lists if you're a HubSpot Partner.

List is used as criteria in other lists

To delete the list:

• Identify the lists that are using this list as a criteria.
• Delete the lists or change their criteria so it does not reference the list you want to delete.
• Delete the list.

List is used in a workflow's enrollment triggers

To delete the list:

• Identify the workflow using the list in its enrollment triggers.
• Delete the workflow or remove the list from its enrollment triggers.
• Delete the list.

List is used in a saved view

To delete the list:

• Identify the saved view using the list.
• Delete the saved views or remove the list from its criteria.
• Delete the list.
